Birozy said the pedestrian is identified as Trace Goodwin, 19, of Pensacola.

According to Birozy, the preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian entered the roadway and was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Jamboree.

Birozy said the investigation is ongoing and fault is yet to be determined.
