An Atmore woman died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash on Booneville Road, 18 miles north of Atmore on July 18, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Sgt. Derek Gessner said in a release today that Victoria Skye DeSilvery, 28, was riding in a 1997 Ford Mustang and the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Gessner said that DeSilvery was airlifted to University Hospital in Mobile, where she died from her injuries on July 23.
“The driver, Chad Houston Alverson, 33, of Atmore, and an unknown female passenger were uninjured in the crash,” he said.
Gessner said there isn’t any further information as ALEA continues to investigate the crash.
