James Edward Mosley, 84, of Atmore, passed away at his residence on July 29, 2019.
He worked for Container Corporation, owned Operated Gas Station’s, Mosleys Fairview Texaco and was a farmer.
He was born in Lottie on Dec. 14, 1935 to the late Thomas Calvin “Arant” and Janie King Mosley.
He was a member of the Lottie United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, J.T. Mosley.
Survivors are his wife, Shirley Dunn Mosley; a son, James Byron (Danielle) Mosley, all of Lottie; a brother, Billy Ray Mosley, of Bay Minette; grandchildren, Jennifer Cian (Cody) Mosley Smith and Jacob (Day) Harrison; and two great-grandchildren, Jay Harrison and Coraline Harrison.
Services were held Aug. 1, 2019, from Lottie United Methodist Church with Bro. Henry Wilson, Bro. Brent Chancery and Bro. Gerald Coggin officiating.
Interment followed in Lottie Methodist Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Randy Weaver, Brandon Kelly, Jamie Ramer, Norman Myer, Matt Burns and Paul Benton.
Family received friends July 31 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home and again on Aug. 1, 2019 at Lottie Methodist Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
