Mildred T. Bowman, 90, of Lottie, passed away on Aug. 3, 2019, in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1928, to the late Robert “Rob” and Henrietta “Carlie” Taylor Tyree in Barnett’s Crossroads.

She was a retired seamstress from Vanity Fair and was of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Marshall Bowman; and two brothers, Willard Tyree and Vernie Lee “Snooks” Tyree.

She is survived by her children, Mark Bowman, Matthew “Matt” (Cathy) Bowman both of Lottie, Margaret Ann (James) Odom of Cantonment, Fla., Sherry (Shannon Hurd) Milstid of Pensacola, Fla. and Cindy (Bo) Weaver of Gulf Shores; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Aug. 9 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Daniels officiating. Burial followed in Lottie New Home Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Shannon Hurd, Sherry Milstid, Zack Weaver, Bo Weaver, Joseph Mulligan and Shane Bowman and honorary pallbearer was Steven Champion.

Visitation was held Aug. 8 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
