Northview beat Lighthouse Christian 37-0 on senior night and the regular-season opener Friday in Bratt.

The Chiefs led 27-0 at halftime, and head football coach Derek Marshman said the boys ran the ball well, and special teams came up with a score on a punt return.

“And we had the defense score a safety for us,” he said. “Everybody got to play.”

Marshman said even thought it was the first game, there are areas that need tweaking.

“We’ve got some things we’ve got to fix,” he said. “We’ve got a lot of areas we can improve on.”

Northview visits Flomaton next Friday. Flomaton’s varsity squad tied Opp 7-all in a half during jamboree play. Opp won 14-0 in junior varsity action.
