Mr. Marvin Del Mowrey, 55, passed away on Aug. 27, 2019, at his home in Pine Grove (Bay Minette).

Mr. Mowrey was a native of Rapid City, S.D., former resident of Dothan (40 years) and had resided in Pine Grove for the past four years. Mr. Mowrey was an electrician with Herndon Electric with 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Evelyn Mowrey.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol Mowrey of Pine Grove (Bay Minette); two sons, Charles (Amy) Jowers of Augusta, Ga. and David Lee Mowrey of Dothan; four brothers, Gary (Judy) Mowrey of Cottonwood, James (Kim) Mowrey of Cottonwood, Timothy (Christina) Mowrey of Pinkard and Tony Mowrey of Cowarts; one grandchild, Oliver Jowers; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Aug. 30, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Helen Stewart serving as officiate.

Burial followed at the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Visitation was held Aug. 30 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Brian Harrelson, Cody Emmons, B.J. Emmons, Gary Mowrey and James Mowrey.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
