Escambia County Middle School eighth grader Ava Penner’s logo was chosen out of hundreds of other submissions for the upcoming Alabama Association for Gifted Child (AAGC) Conference in Birmingham, according to officials.

The conference will be held in mid October.

Penner’s logo will be printed on conference T-shirts, pens, pencils, bags and notepads.

We are so proud to have one of our students logo printed on all conference materials, ECMS officials said.

Along with the honor of having her logo printed on conference materials, Penner received a $100 award.
