William L. Etheridge, 77, of Navarre, Fla., passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, in Navarre.

He served in the United States Army and then retired from the United States Air Force. He was a staff sergeant and served during Vietnam.

He was born in Atmore on August 27, 1942, to the late William E. and Eunice Bryars Etheridge.

He is preceded by his parents; his wife, Brenda Bryars Etheridge; and a sister, Midge Richburg.

His survived by his children, James (Shelly) Etheridge of Pace, Fla., Sybil Etheridge of Pensacola, Fla., Jason Etheridge of California and Joleen Etheridge of Navarre; seven grandchildren Leslie, Dlyan, Clayton, Jordan, Tyler, Aiden and Rebecca; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, September 14, 2019 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Bryars-McGill Cemetery with full military honors.
