Mother Lola Mae Ikner was born on November 10, 1944 in Camden to the late Mr. Eddie and Elnora Jackson.

She made her sweet transition on September 20, 2019, at the Atmore Nursing Facility in Atmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. James William “JW” Ikner; parents, Mr. Eddie Lee Jackson and Mrs. Elnora Howard Jackson; sisters, Lillie Mae Jackson-North, Mary Lee Jackson Knotts and Irish Jean Jackson; and brothers, Sonny Jackson, Willie James Jackson and Eddie Jackson.

Those will forever cherish her memories include children, Michael Jackson of Tennessee, Samuel Jackson of Bratt, Fla., Rita Ikner of Pensacola, Fla. and Allan Ikner of Canoe; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Annie Lou ( Jackson Wiggins – Bobby), Leon (Jackson) of Pensacola, Larry and Ann Jackson of Andalusia, and Edward Jackson and Betsy Jackson of Pensacola; special friends, Elcie Roschild Thames, Trish Dixon Thames and Henry and Minnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held this Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center in Atmore.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Mayberry Funeral Home of Atmore.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
