Cloe Smith was named Northview’s 2019 Homecoming Queen Friday night.

The homecoming ceremonies were moved indoors just before 6 p.m. because of the severe thunderstorm that swept through the area. Once inside, the power went out some 25 minutes later, and wasn’t restored until 7:13 p.m. A downed transformer was the cause of the power outage.
