Mrs. Ida Bell Harris Hall, 87, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2019, in Atmore.

Mrs. Hall was a native of Little River, former resident of Davisville, Fla. and had resided in Atmore since 1975.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. Mrs. Hall spent her life as a homemaker and loving matriarch for her family. She was notorious for her selflessness and heart of gold for people and animals alike. She was loved immensely and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Gordon Hall Jr.; son, Frank Hall; parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by her son, the Rev. Ronald (Janice) Hall of Poarch; daughter, Susie Hall of Canoe; sister, Lillian “Bounce” Curry of Perdido; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Waylan Stuckey and the Rev. Ronald Hall officiating.

Burial will follow at the Pinebarren Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Weekley, Floyd Harris, Randy Bridges, Michael McCurdy, Asher Green and Chris Burklund.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
