Leonard Ray “Pete” Hardy Sr., 76, of Atmore, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2019 in Atmore.

He was a retired farmer, born in Atmore, on December 14, 1942, to the late Joseph and Hattie Phillips Hardy.

He is preceded by his parents; two children, Wendy Michelle Hardy and Leonard Ray Hardy Jr.;  two sisters, Lucille Zeringue and Lois Hall; and three brothers, Louie Hardy, Leslie Hardy and Lamar Hardy.

Survivors are a daughter, Kim Rolin; a grandson, Coty (Brook) Rolin, both of Atmore; two great-grandchildren, Zhoie and Sadie Rolin; five sisters, Latisha Phillips, LaBetty (Gene) Singleton,  Sarah (Hoyt) Coon, of Atmore,

Linda Garrick of North Carolina and Lanette Hardy of Atmore; grand puppy, Brodie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be tomorrow, Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 3:30 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with speaker Marlin Metzler officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.
