Pauline Viola Mininger Harms , 96, passed away on October 15, 2019, at Oak Wood Manor, Brooksville, Ms.
She was a homemaker, born on September 26, 1923, in rural Gratiot County, Mich. to the late Emanuel and Hattie Freeman Mininger.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marshall Harms; one son in law, Howard Nickel; one granddaughter, Heidi Peaster; one great-grandson, Justin Dyck; four sisters; three sisters in law; and four brothers in law.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane (Newell) Mininger of Barron, Wisc., Nancy (Dwayne) Peaster of Brooksville, Miss. and Janice (Merle) Koehn of Moundridge, Kan. presently serving at the Sarasota, Fla. mission; one son, Terry (Judy) of Murray, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 13 step-great grandchildren; nine step-great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vada Seiler of Brooksville, Miss. and Elgene Martinez of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Bob Mininger of Moundridge; four sisters in law, Dorothy Benner of Brooksville, Ruth (David) Benner of Middleberry, Ind., Janis Harms of Daphne and Thelma (Gerald) Boeckner of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one brother in law, Don Harms of Montezuma, Kans.; and numerous relatives and friends.
Services were held October 19, 2019 from the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church with the Rev. Mike Koehn, Rev. Galen Harms and Rev. Jamie Wedel officiating. Interment was in Walnut Hill Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Chad Nickel, Van Nickel, Camron Peaster, Marwyn Peaster, Alston Koehn, Andrew Koehn, Arlin Koehn and Sheldon Toews.
Family received friends October 18, 2019 at the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
