Mr. Robert Franklin Johnson Jr., 63, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Mobile.

Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Atmore. Mr. Johnson was a retired mechanic from Gulf Construction with 10 years of service, a veteran serving with the U.S. Army in special forces and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Johnson Sr. and Lillian Johnson.

He is survived by one son, Jason (Joy) Johnson of West Blocton; two daugthers, Chasity (Adam) Johnson of Perdido and Ashley (Johnny) Smith of Tuscaloosa; two brothers, Michael (Kathy) Johnson of Perdido and Terry Johnson of Bay Minette; one sister, Diane (Roger) Ward of Atmore; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Joshua, Jason Jr., Mikie, Chloe, Sophie and Levi; one nephew, Robert; and three nieces, Amy, Kristy and Jenni.

Funeral services were held November 13, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Thurl Pearson officiating.

Burial followed at the McCullough Cemetery.

Visitation was held November 13, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Joshua Johnson, Jason Johnson Jr., Johnny Smith, Adam Barrow, Ricky Gohagan and Billy Aaron.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
