Katherine “Katie” Susanne Lee Barber, 35, of Atmore, passed away on October 29, 2019, in an auto accident.

She was born on July 19, 1984, in Tampa, Fla., to John R. Lee of Byrneville, Fla., and Susanne Sims of Flomaton.

Katie was a big-hearted person who enjoyed helping others. She loved her children, animals, the beach, art, crafts, poetry and music. Katie was an awesome mother, wife and friend among other things. She will be dearly missed.

Katie is survived by her husband, Jason M. Barber of Atmore; daughters, Izzy, Jazzy and Mikki Barber of Atmore; son, Daylan Brown of Walnut Hill, Fla.; grandmother, Bess Lee of Byrneville; brother, Zack (Buddy) Tyree of Atmore; aunt, Janet Shultz of Jay, Fla.; and close family friends, Dick and the Sunday Benner of Bratt, Fla.

A celebration of life service will be held next Sat., January 18, 2020, from noon until 5 p.m. at the Davisville Community Center, 10199 Florida Hwy. 97, Century, FL 32535.
