Mr. Rufus “Buck” McClain, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. McClain was native of Boykin, former resident of Conecuh County and had resided in Atmore for the past seven years.

He was a retired logger.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Bradley; and parents, Frank and Mary Voncile McClain.

He is survived by one son, Anthony McClain of Houston, Texas; one brother, Frankie McClain of Brewton; two sisters, Theresa McClain of Atmore and Eva Mae Heard of Moss Point, Miss.; and nephew, Robert (Ida Mae) McClain of Atmore.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
