Ms. Dorothy Jean Coley, 56, of Atmore, fell asleep on Sat., Jan. 25, 2020 in Atmore.

A native of Atmore, Dorothy attended School in Escambia County (Ala.) and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Lee Coley and Richard Williams; and a sister, Hilda “Tootsie Roll” Coley Burks.

She is survived by three sons, Eric (Krystal) Coley of Millbrook, Joshua Coley and Ja’Quan Coley, both of Atmore; a sister, Susie Coley of Jackson, Miss.; a devoted cousin, Minister Marie Coley Hartley of Atmore; two grandsons, Amir and Preston; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held Feb. 1, 2020 at Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church – Hwy. 21 – Atmore with the Rev. Freddie Banks, host pastor and Bishop Tommie Thomas serving as eulogist. Inhumation was in Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
