Atmore’s Main Event superstars put on an event Saturday night at Hillcrest-Evergreen High School the crowd will never forget, Owner Danny Rolin said.
Rolin said in the main event of the evening, Alastair Crowe defended the AME Cruiserweight Championship against Marcus Gibbs.
In the semi-main event, Mountain Man, at 6-foot-8 and 360 pounds, from Stone Mountain, Ga., defeated Big Miles. Mountain Man is new to the AME roster.
In earlier card action, Atmore’s Cleveland “Pretty Boy” Biggs lost to Pensacola’s Van Christopher.
Rolin said the crowd really got into the matches, adding that the school board superintendent of Conecuh County Schools said that AME is the real deal in professional wrestling.
“They are already wanting AME back,” Rolin said.
To celebrate their one-year anniversary, AME will hold two Slammiversary events March 7 and 21. More information on the shows will be published later.
