Glenn Douglas Jones, 72, of Mobile, passed away on March 8, 2020 in Mobile.

He was born on December 1, 1947 in Atmore to the late Novie L. and Gracie Mitchell Jones.

He was a retired yard foreman and crane operator at Construction Solutions.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ginger Dian Jones; and sister, Alicia Leatherwood.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dian Pouncey Jones of Mobile; one son, Glenn Jones of Mobile; two step sons, Scott (Elizabeth) Leatherwood of Mobile and Robert Leatherwood of Atmore; one daughter, Kylisha Mallard of Peachtree City, Ga.; one sister, Ann (Robert) Hughes; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Barr officiating. Burial will follow in Canoe United Methodist Church Cemetery in Robinsonville.

Active pallbearers will be Justin Leatherwood, Tanner Leatherwood, Robert Leatherwood, Jonathan Bray, Jerome Quinn and Joshua Husband.

Visitation will be held today, March 11, 2020, from noon until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
