Tractor Supply to open soon
By Kaitlin Holley
Atmore has been eagerly waiting for Tractor Supply to open and the good news is that the wait will not be much longer.
Since the announcement of Tractor Supply coming to Atmore, renovating and demolishing of the former Ramey’s building has commenced.
Abby Brown, account executive of Tractor Supply, said new jobs will come along with the opening of the store.
“At this point, I can confirm that a Tractor Supply store is opening in Atmore in Spring 2020,” Brown said. “The store will provide about 15 new jobs to the area, with at least half of those being full time positions. Also, this is one of 80 stores opening in 2020.”
Brown said the company provides essential services for communities.
“Tractor Supply serves it’s communities as an essential, needs-based retailer, providing everyday products for customers such as animal feed, pet food and supplies, propane, fencing, garden supplies, home supplies and more,” she said.l “Customers find everything they need to maintain their farms, ranches, homes and animals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tractor Supply is committed to taking care of team members, customers and communities with key actions such as increasing inventory, cleaning and disinfecting items and offering a curbside pick up option.”
