The 2020 annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow has been canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Poarch Creek Indians.

“The health of all Tribal members, participants and visitors is the Tribe’s foremost concern while moving forward during the COVID-19 pandemic,” PCI said on its Facebook page. “We would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and we look forward to celebrating the 2021 annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow with you next year.

“We pray that you and your families remain safe and healthy.”
