Sandra Gray announced her candidacy to run for the Atmore City Council District 5 seat on Monday.

Gray has served the Atmore community for over three decades.

“I will work hard to bring unity in all aspects of the community through education, employment, industry, health, wellness and recreation to help improve the quality of life in the community,” Gray said.

Gray said she promises to be a voice you can depend on.

She said she wants her constituents to know that she is ready to work hard for Atmore.

Gray said her major focus is on jobs, industries, education, housing, recreation, health, wellness, infrastructure and safety.
