COVID-19 UPDATE: ECHA reports 15 more cases since Tuesday

The Escambia County Healthcare Authority announced today, July 10, that there have been 261 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported out of its two hospitals.
The latest numbers reported include an increase of 15 cases since July 7.
According to ECHA’s biweekly update, there have been 216 (up 12) confirmed cases reported at Atmore Community Hospital, and 45 (up three) cases at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.
At ACH, 1,221 specimens have been collected with 906 negative results, 97 pending and two inconclusive.
At DWM, 527 specimens have been collected with 437 negative results, 44 pending (up 36) and one inconclusive.
The ECHA updates these numbers twice a week to reflect current case numbers. Due to the timing of the information, the numbers may differ from the numbers on the Alabama Department of Public Health’s website.
According to the ADPH, there have been 452 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported with 3,067 specimens collected and eight confirmed deaths in Escambia County, Ala.
