Weekend weather: Hot with some rain

The heat advisory is still in effect until 6 p.m. for the area, according to the National Weather Service.
This afternoon, NWS officials are forecasting a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and partly sunny weather with a high of 93 degrees.
The heat index values are as high as 107 degrees, according to the NWS.
Rainfall amounts are forecasted to be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.
The weather forecast tonight is slated to be mostly clear with a low of around 75 degrees.
This weekend, sunny weather with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms with a high of 96 degrees are expected for Saturday; and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms along with a high of 97 set for Sunday.
