Mr. Ular C. Moorer, 63, of Walnut Hill, Fla., fell asleep in the Arms of Jesus on Fri., July 17, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Moorer was a native of Atmore and longtime resident of Walnut Hill.
He was a 1976 graduate of Ernest Ward High School in Walnut Hill, and had worked as a laborer for the Escambia County (Fla.) Road Department.
He enjoyed watching wrestling. He was a member of New St. Paul Baptist Church in Walnut Hill.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheena and Shaquetta Moorer; his mother, Zelma Moorer; and his father, David Moorer.
Those left to embrace memories of his life and legacy are his wife, Lorene Moorer of Walnut Hill; a daughter, Tatweta Moorer of Walnut Hill; two sons, Eric Moorer of Flomaton and Devin Moorer of Atmore; six sisters, Lois Stokes and Hattie Ewing, both of Atmore, Diane Thames of Walnut Hill, Gloria Moorer, Tammy Moorer and Vera Simpson, all of Century, Fla.; three brothers, Thomas Williams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Glen Moorer of Atmore and Joey Moorer of Pace, Fla; and five grandchildren.
A walk through viewing will be this Fri., July 24, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held this Sat., July 25, 2020, at 2 p.m. at New St. Paul Church Cemetery in Walnut Hill with the Rev. Sammie Moorer officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
