James “Jimmy” Milton Campbell, 61, of Poarch, passed away on Aug. 1, 2020.

He was born on July 31, 1959 to the late James and Mary Cooper Campbell. He was an avid Alabama football fan. Jimmy served in the United States Navy and was a brick mason most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Campbell and Mary Cooper Campbell Wallace; his stepfather, Mellville Buck Wallace; great-grandson, Kayson Blackwell; and his niece, Holly Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Jackson of Poarch; four daughters, Nicki Moorehead of Meridian, Miss., Chris (Carlton) Shepard of Little Rock, Miss., Melissa Campbell of Daphne and Rebecca Campbell of Missouri; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Robert Campbell of Clarksville, Ohio and John Campbell (Amy Wilkin) of Lynchburg, Ohio; three sisters, Stella (Markie) Anderson of Peebles, Ohio, Mary Johnson (Butch Lightle) of Sabina, Ohio and Sara (Eric) Hubbard of Martinsville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held this Fri., Aug. 7, 2020, at 11 a.m. at New Home Cemetery in Poarch with Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating.
