William “Don” Donell Conway, 71, of Atmore, passed away on July 23, 2020.

He was born on April 18, 1949 in Escambia County, Ala. to the late William Alvin Conway and Shirley Luverne Flowers Conway Hadley.

He was the owner and operator of Conway Gravel Hauling and worked in the oil fields most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Ann Conway; his parents; one sister, Elaine Brewton; and one brother, Wendall Conway.

He is survived by one sister, Earline (Gilbert) Wall of Atmore; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held today, Aug. 4, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore with Bro. Thurl Pearson officiating.

Active pallbearers will be John Brewton, Ron Phillips, Bill Walker, Billy Walker, Eugene Rackard, Ernest Rolin and Blake Pearson.
