Mr. Donald “John Henry” Malone, born on Dec. 9, 1939, went to be with the lord on Fri., Aug. 28, 2020.

John was a native and lifelong resident of McDavid, Fla.

He served in the U.S. Army for four years. He retired from Air Products.

John enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and wood working.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J. E. Malone and Della Cofield Malone; a brother, Gene Malone; and an infant sister, Jennie Malone.

He is survived by his siblings, Bennie Malone of Cantonment, Fla., Betty Malone Childress (Clark) of Gonzalez, Fla. and Lon Malone (Alice) of Byrneville, Fla.; sister in law, Ann Malone of Cantonment; Jimmy Malone (Hilda) of McDavid; many nieces, Brenda, Kay, Sherry, Janet, Lisa, Sonya and Terry; and many great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, close friends and a special pet, Daisy.

Graveside services were held on Aug. 30, 2020, at Ray’s Chapel Cemetery in McDavid with Bro. Nathan Brown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, John Henry requested donations be made to Covenant Hospice and a special thanks to Samantha from Covenant Care Hospice.
