Escambia County fell 28-0 to Mobile Christian in region action tonight in Atmore.
The Blue Devils trailed 14-0 at the end of the first quarter, and 21-0 at halftime.
Mobile Christian led 28-0 at the end of the third.
The Leopards got on the board with a blocked punt for a touchdown with 8:46 left in the opening period.
The second and third touchdowns were recorded off of turnovers for the Mobile team.
In the third quarter, Mobile Christian’s Toler Keigley caught a 2-yard touchdown pass.
ECHS is open next week, and will visit St. Michael on Thurs., Sept. 17, to continue in Clas 4A, Region 1 action.
