Ms. Annie Louise Harris, 80, of Atmore (Freemanville Community), answered the master’s call on Wed., Sept. 2, 2020 at her residence.
Ms. Harris was a native of Monroeville and a graduate of Escambia County Training School in Atmore. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McCullough. She had lived in New York for many years, where she worked in the health care profession until she relocated back to Atmore.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Harris; and her father, Johnny Harris.
Those left to cherish memories of her life are two daughters, Debra Harris of Atmore and Renee Lambert of Deltona, Fla.; two sons, Curtis Harris Of Deltona and Marvin Lambert of Hempstead, N.Y.; four sisters, Luverne Lawson of McCullough, Mary Williams of Atmore (Freemanville Community), Emma Harris of Newport News, Va. and Betty Harris of Atmore; a brother, Charles Harris of Queens, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held this Thurs., Sept. 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in McCollough Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Walk in viewing will be today, Wed., Sept. 9, 2020, at Turner Funeral Chapel from 2-5 p.m. with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
