Cougars dominate Wilcox Academy 35-6
EA improves to 2-0 in AISA Class 2A, Region 2
Escambia Academy utilized its fast-paced and physical style of football to dominate Wilcox Academy 35-6 in region action Friday night at Bachelor Field.
The Cougars led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter, and 28-0 at the break.
EA head football coach Hugh Fountain said his team being 2-0 in AISA Class 2A, Region 2 is good, but there’s still plenty of football left to play.

• Bubba Nettles scored on a 75-yard rush. The PAT was good.
• A 55-yard touchdown pass from Sims to Sam Fields. The PAT was good.
• A 64-yard touchdown pass from Sims to Tyler Ray-Cloud. The PAT was good.
In the third quarter, running back Christian Crook scooted in from 14 yards out with 6:39 left to play. The PAT was good.
