Alabama Power: 1,100 remain without power
Alabama Power officials said tonight that 1,100 customers remain without power.
When the storm hit, 85 percent of customers in Atmore and surrounding areas were without power, officials said.
According to officials, Alabama Power has restored service to all but 14 percent of its customers in the area as of today at 6 p.m.
Approximately 100 crew members and
support personnel are supporting the restoration efforts in the local area, officials said.
