Mrs. Leisha Gibbs Strickland, 47, passed away on Wed., Sept. 23, 2020 in Fairhope.

Mrs. Strickland was a native of Atmore and had resided in Fairhope for the past 19 years. She attended the New Providence Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Gibbs.

She is survived by mother, Nett Stewart Thomas of Rabun; one son, James Richard Strickland III of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Cassie Gibbs of Foley; one brother, Matthew Thomas of Atmore; one sister, Keisha Gibbs; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held next Mon., Sept. 28, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the New Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Wilson officiating.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
