Zeta forecasted to drop 1-2 inches of rain in area

Escambia County EMA officials said tonight that the current forecast for Hurricane Zeta has the highest probability of the center passing to the area’s north and west.

Director David Adams said in a release that the area should see most impacts Wednesday evening and night.

“Rainfall totals are forecast to be between 1.5-2 inches for most of the county,” he said. “Isolated tornadoes are possible.”
