Zeta to bring wind, rain
Escambia County EMA officials said Oct. 27 the county may see tropical storm force winds and rainfall from Hurricane Zeta.
EMA Director David Adams said the forecast track still has the hurricane coming ashore in the area of southeast Louisiana and southwest Mississippi, then continuing to the northeast into southwest Alabama.
“Escambia County may see tropical storm force winds and rainfall totals of 2-3 inches,” Adams said. “The formation of tornados is possible. Most of the impacts should happen through the night on Wednesday.”
