An Atmore man died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 31 near 21st Avenue on Nov. 20, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Trooper Gary Cole said in a release that the crash occurred approximately at 1:35 p.m.

Cole said that Mathiew Norman Wilson, 58, was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram on Highway 31 near 21st Avenue in Escambia County.

Cole said Wilson attempted to make a left turn onto 21st Avenue and collided with a 2000 Ford Excursion, driven by Phenix Nicole Crews, 18, of Atmore.

Cole said Jacob Oryan Bailey, 34, of Atmore, was a passenger in the Dodge Ram and was killed as a result of the crash.

Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
