Escambia County High School students will attend school virtually this week, according to a post on the school’s Facebook page.

According to a screenshot on the post, Superintendent John Knott announced earlier this evening that ECHS students will attend virtually this week and should not report to school.

Students will not have exams, but are required to complete all class work, the post read.

“Teachers and staff will be at work all week and will communicate their expectations to students as well as assist with assignments as needed,” officials said.

All assignments for students must be completed by Dec. 18.

A reason for the switch to virtual wasn’t posted on the page.
