Betty Jo Wilson, 78, of Flomaton, passed away on Sat., Dec. 19, 2020 in Century, Fla.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1942 in Frisco City, to the late Russell and Allie Hanks Kimmons.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.C. Wilson; and her brothers and sisters, Marvin Kimmons, Russell Kimmons, Mack Kimmons, Estelle Buckhault and Faye Wilson.
Mrs. Betty loved her family and was a member of Holy Ground Holiness Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy (Jim) Young of Canoe and Christy Johnson of Colorado; grandchildren, Adam (Holly) Young, Jaime Young, Davida Leino and Hunter Leino; great-grandchildren, Logan, Leah, Lauren, Adalynne and Ayden; special niece, Kathy Stophel; a special friend and caregiver, Earnestine Arnold; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow, Wed., Dec. 23, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Kathy Stophel officiating. Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Brewton.
Active pallbearers will be Adam Young, Jaime Young, Robert Earl Wilson Jr., Brandon Stophel, Tristian Mayhan, Jim Young and Hunter Leino.
Visitation will be Dec. 23, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
