Students at Rachel Patterson have been busy as of late.
The school held two donation drives, including for the local Toys for Tots organization and a canned food drive.
Classrooms participated in the canned goods competition with the winning class who donated the most getting a pizza party.
Principal Toya McMillian said adults and kids participated in the toy drive.
McMillian said the students poured a lot into the effort.
Additionally, Pastor Darryl North, Empowerment Tabernacle and the Atmore Police Department helped provide 41 bicycles to children at RPES.
Loumeek White, District 5 boardmember, and Jimmie Marshall helped in the effort.
