Escambia County School System students are returning to school after the holidays on a different schedule, according to reports.

The staggered schedule for traditional on campus students includes:

• Students with a last name beginning with A-G will return on Mon., Jan. 4;

• Students with a last name beginning with H-M will return on Tues., Jan. 5;

• Students with a last name beginning with N-Z will return on Wed., Jan. 6.

The schedule is for all students in all grades in ECSS, according to reports.

Students going to school at home on staggered days should be engaged through virtual/remote lessons, according to reports.
