Mr. Rickey Lee Montgomery, 58, of Atmore, answered the master’s call on Wed., Jan. 5, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Montgomery was a native of Atmore and attended school in Escambia County, Ala.. He worked at Swift Lumber Co.He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmison and Cherry Bell Montgomery; three brothers; and a sister.
Those left to cherish memories of his life are two sons, Jimmison Montgomery and Rickey Montgomery Jr., both of Atmore; four sisters, Gloria J. Montgomery and Dorothy Robinson, both of Atmore, Denise (Charles) Jackson of Huntsville and Teresa (Ronald) Tolliver of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Derrick (Sandra) Montgomery of Atmore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and an uncle.
Funeral service was held on Jan. 11, 2021 at L & J Chapel of Turner Funeral Chapel with Bishop Darryl North officiating. Inhumation was in Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
