Mr. Claude L. Riley, 57, of Atmore (Freemanville Community) answered the master’s call on Fri., Jan. 29, 2021, at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile.
A native of Atmore, Claude was a graduate of Escambia County High School in 1981 and an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan who also enjoyed fishing, attending church, basketball and sharing special moments with his grandchildren. He worked as a lead man at Standard Furniture for over 20 years and was a member of Destiny Worship Center.
Those that welcome him to his eternal home are his parents, Clausell and Helen Riley; his first wife, Sylvia Riley; a sister, Linda Riley; and other family members.
Those left to cherish the memories of his life are his wife, Teresa Riley of Atmore; two daughters, Mia Riley of Atmore and LaShae Styron of New Orleans, La.; four sons, Claudero (Anjancice) Riley, Jonathan (Stefanie) Chong, all of Atmore, Manuel (Jennifer) Cintron of Los Angeles, Calif. and Michael Guzman of New York City, N.Y.; four sisters, Deloris Haskins-Barron (Freddie), Katrice Riley and Veronica Riley, all of Los Angeles, and Cassondra Riley of Atmore; three brothers, Bryan (Katherine) Tunstall of Fairhope, Thomas (Mable) Riley of Flomaton and Kendrick (Gina) Williams of Atmore; 15 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
Walk-thru viewing will be this Sat., Feb. 6, 2021, from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Celebration service of his life will be held this Sun., Feb. 7, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bishop Bernard Bishop officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Facial masks are mandatory for the viewing on Saturday and the funeral service on Sunday. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
