ACH resuming semi-normal visiting hours

Atmore Community Hospital is resuming semi-normal operations for the public to include inpatient visitation and the cafeteria on March 1, according to the hospital’s Facebook page.
According to ACH officials, anyone entering the building must be screened at the kiosk in the front lobby of the hospital; masks are required for anyone entering the building; outpatient services and ancillary services will allow one person to accompany the patient at a time; and daily visiting hours may vary depending on the discretion of the department.
The visiting hours are:
• Med surgery – 7 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.
• ICU – 7 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.; 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.; 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.; 4 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.; and 7 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
All children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To protect you and patients in care, visitors are encouraged to wash their hands before and after entering a patient room.
The cafeteria will be open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m, and from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
