Mr. Larry Lamar Smallwood, 69, passed away on Sat., March 6, 2021 in Atmore.

Mr. Smallwood was a native and former resident of Macon, Ga. and had resided in Atmore for the past 12 years. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, fishing and hunting. He was a mechanic and veteran of the Vietnam Conflict with the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lillian Smallwood; and siblings, Kathy Smallwood, Roland Smallwood, Wayne Smallwood, Melvin Smallwood and Jerry Smallwood.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Connie Smallwood of Atmore; two sons, Junior Smallwood of Atmore and David Smallwood of Atmore; three daughters, Tracie Hinton of Atmore, Melaidy Weaver of Atmore and Shannon (Jeffery) Norwood of Atmore; one brother, Eddie Smallwood of Macon; four sisters, Patricia Roland of Macon, Sheila Fuller of Macon, Frances Smith of Lava Hot Springs, Ind. and Sherry (Junior) Ashley of Macon; nine grandchildren, Cameron (Jennifer) Hinton, Jacob Smallwood, Randall Weaver, Kaitlynn Weaver, Chloe Weaver, Reevise Weaver, Noah Norwood, Kinsley Norwood and Elijah Brooks; three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Weaver, Kyler Weaver and Bentley Stewart; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
