There’s a chance of showers with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m. today for the Atmore area, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of precipitation today is 50 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a 10th of an inch. Higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.

The high today will be near 79 degrees with a south wind between 10-15 miles per hour, and gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight’s forecast calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 a.m., according to the NWS.

Tuesday and Wednesday’s forecasts contain high chances of precipitation with sever thunderstorms on Wednesday.
