Mrs. Ada Mae Lewis Bethea Cox, 89, passed away on Thurs., April 8, 2021, in Bluff Springs, Fla. 

She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Alvin Bethea and Joe Cox; and a son Joseph Cox.

She is survived by her two sons, Wes Bethea of McDavid, Fla. and Richard Bethea of McDavid; one stepson, Steven Cox of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Wanda McCurdy of Bluff Springs; three stepdaughters, Susie Shields of Tallahassee, Fla, Lisa Shaw of Tallahassee and Carol Gauthier of Chumuckla, Fla.; one brother, Eugene Lewis of Bay Springs, Fla.; one sister, Jeanette Lollie of Cantonment, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services were held on April 11, 2021 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Tony Schachle officiating and along with the assistance of Al Bethea and Ricky Bethea.

Burial followed at the Bay Springs Cemetery.
