Mr. Willie James Norman, 89, of Tensaw Community, answered the master’s call on Sun., April 11, 2021 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla..

He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Norman; his mother, Rosie Sanders Norman; sons, Willie Earl Norman, Charlie James Norman and Willie Glenn Wiggins; and sisters, Maggie Norman, Daisy Pogue, Millie Norman, Rose Mary Cook, Martha Norman-Williams and Cammie Norman.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his sons, Jewel (Brenda) Wiggins, Samuel (Jean) Norman and Claude Norman, all of Dayton, Ohio, Henry Norman of West Palm Beach, Fla., Bobby (Selena) Norman of Joplin, Mo., Ronnie Wiggins, Fritzgerald (Lou Venia) Norman, Frederick Norman, James Norman and Keith Wiggins all of Pensacola, Fla.; daughters, Jeanette (James) York Jr. of Bay Minette, Tammie Norman of Pensacola, Glenda (Cornelius) Turner of Milton, Fla., Zetherine Wiggins of Birmingham, Priscilla (Harrison) Neilly of Kissimmee, Fla.; a brother, Charlie (Bertha) Norman of Atlanta, Ga.; four sisters, Virginia (George) Taylor Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Johnnie Mae Norman and Mary Norman both of Atmore, and Mary Jay of Century, Fla.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on April 24, 2021 at Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center – Atmore with Bishop Darryl North officiating. R

etirement of his remains was in Tensaw Memorial Gardens in Tensaw Community with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
