Coach Michael Franklin “Mickey” Cannon, 72 of Atmore, passed away on May 8, 2021 in Atmore.

He is survived by his wife, Lee Dickinson Cannon of Atmore; his daughter, Melissa Cannon (Shane) Knockemus of Montgomery; his son, Michael Franklin (Misty) Cannon Jr. of Atmore; two brothers, Steve Cannon of Brewton and Mark Cannon of East Brewton; and five grandchildren, Erin Terrell, Emma Terrell, Tripp Cannon, Ella Rose Cannon and Kaylie Curtis.

Graveside services were held today, Tues., May 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Gartman officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
