The Atmore Public Library kicked off its 2021 Summer Reading Program June 4 with a herd of children and animals.
Uncle Joe’s Rolling Zoo brought some of its animals for the throng of participants who helped kick off the program for the first in-person meeting since 2019.
This summer’s reading program theme is Tails and Tales, and is held each Friday in June.
This rest of this year’s program schedule is below:
June 11 – Michell’s Magical Poodles
June 18 – Wild West Rope Show
June 25 – Awards Day/Wink Daneberg, juggler
Each program meets at 10 a.m.
