Proceeds from the Battle of the Badges Charity Softball Game were donated June 10 to The Forgotten Initiative, a local charity.

TFI helps support the foster care community through awareness, encouragement and advocacy.

The funds raised from the Atmore Police and Fire Department softball game are going to go toward needed supplies for foster families.

AFD Lt. Danny White presented the funds to TFI County Advocate Jennifer Strawbridge.

The charity softball game was held Sat., May 29, at Tom Byrne Park.
